DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Meteorological summer began June 1, and there are probably two words you think of to describe the season - “hot” and “humid.” You’re right!The normal high temperature for Dothan rises from 90 degrees on June 1 to a peak of 94 degrees on July 15. We hold that normal high through July 28 before temperatures gradually begin to decline. By the last day of August, the end of meteorological summer, the normal high is still 91°.
