Jolie Cannon filed a federal lawsuit this month that claims the school system violated her rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Cannon, a Dothan High teacher since 1999, alleged her diabetes is so severe she must monitor blood sugar continuously using data transmitted via the internet or cellular service.
