A group of pickleball players called the Pickle Breakers are aiming to break a world record this weekend in Carrollton by playing pickleball nonstop for 36 hours. The group of four is looking to put themselves into the Guinness Book of World Records by surpassing the current mark of 34 hours and 5 minutes. They will attempt to surpass the record this weekend at Pickler Universe on Interstate 35E in Carrollton.

A new study from The Times finds Gen Z is a lot more in favor of marriage than their parents. Only 20 percent of that generation looks at marriage as "irrelevant."Less than a quarter of people under the age of 28 are having one-night stands.

It looks like a big name in the rail business is very interested in developing the high-speed rail project that we've been just talking about for almost 35 years. It would let people go from Dallas to Houston in just 90 minutes. Amtrak is taking actual steps forward by looking for what it calls a 'delivery partner' to work on high-speed rail.

Dallas's Southwest Airlines is making a huge change to the way it sells tickets for flights. Southwest announced it will let Expedia's companies sell airline tickets on its sites. Those include Hotwire, Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, and Cheap Tickets. It has never allowed those third parties to sell tickets before, because it wanted passengers to book directly through Southwest. It did let Kayak and Google Flights to start displaying airfares two years ago.
