The New York Jets have officially started the process of finding their next general manager and head coach. The Jets have retained The 33rd Team to assist in their searches to replace Joe Douglas and Robert Saleh. Former Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum and former Vikings general manager Rick Spielman will lead the efforts.

With the Joe Douglas and Robert Saleh era over, the New York Jets need a new regime to take over this offseason. Plenty of names are being floated for a new coach, but a surprising one is throwing his hat in the ring: former Jets coach Rex Ryan. "I'm all about the Jets," Ryan said on ESPN Radio's Bart and Hahn recently. "And the great thing is, yeah, you get a second chance at it and that doesn’t happen very often. Well, when it does it’s usually special.

Back in Week 3, New York Jets offensive lineman Morgan Moses suffered an MCL sprain that would keep him out of action for two to four weeks. He was back during New York's Week 6 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. However, it was not until Monday that we found out the true extent of Moses' injury. Moses told reporters during a news conference that he is currently playing through a Grade 2 MCL sprain, meniscus damage and a small fracture in his knee.

Playing well in the second half, the New York Jets defeated the Houston Texans on Thursday night 21-13, snapping a five-game losing streak and improving to 3-6. The first half seemed like the same old Jets, but in the second half, QB Aaron Rodgers played his best stretch with New York and the offense clicked. “It was kind of season on the line there in the second half,” he said, per Yahoo Sports' Jori Epstein.
