LIMA — The Easter Bunny brought more than just candy to the estimated 5,000 boys and girls who took part in a Lima Easter egg hunt in 1930. Twelve took home live bunnies. “A live bunny was presented as a prize to the finder of each of the 12 prize eggs,” The Lima News reported on April 20, 1930.
