Linden — There were two common themes at Wednesday’s ChoiceOne Bank Athlete of the Week Banquet, honoring the top male and female senior athlete at Fenton, Linden, Lake Fenton, Holly and Hartland high schools. Ask Molly Katic what she is and the Fenton junior will say one thing — she’s an athlete.  Last weekend was a perfect example of her athleticism.  Katic competed in three adaptive races at the Division 1 state meet, earning three state championships on Saturday. And that wasn’t all she did during the weekend. On Friday, she competed at the Special Olympic State Games at Central Michigan University, winning the gold in the 25 freestyle and the bronze in the 50 backstroke.
