MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - The year 2013 goes down in Pelham baseball history. The Panthers hoisted the 6A state championship trophy at Riverwalk Stadium. Now, more than a decade later, one player on that team is still calling the same ballpark home. Hunter Stovall, a sophomore on that 2013 squad, signed with the Montgomery Biscuits in free agency this offseason. He finds himself as the oldest player on the butter and blue’s roster.

Collins fought 120 amateurs himself but for the majority of his life, he has made his impact as “Coach TC.” “You find out about how you can change the attitude, they change everything, touching people’s lives is what I like about it,” said Collins. TC has worked with legendary fighters like Shane Mosley and Oscar de la Hoya.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - It might be their inaugural season, but Alabama FC South is just one win away from a Gulf Coast Premier League championship. “Our very first tryout session that we had, an open tryout, we had the group together and we said, ‘Hey look, we’re not just putting a team to compete. We’re putting a team that has a chance to win it all,” said AFC South general manager and coach Manny Sanchez. Sanchez said the only thing that shocked him was how quickly the team came together.

(WSFA) - Nobody has spent more time in the Riverwalk Stadium press box than Rick Hendrick, who like the team, is in his 20th season as the Montgomery Biscuits public address announcer. After a full shift of on-air radio during the day, Hendrick is just halfway done with his workday when the ‘butter and blue’ are at home. “I love baseball,” said Hendrick.
