OAK GROVE, La. (KNOE) - Oak Grove’s Caroline Bradley has been working on her game and preparing after being selected to the Team USA Women’s 16U Basketball Team. Bradley was able to call her parents with the news, she described it as, “just just such an emotional moment. Not for me, but also the people that have poured time and and, you know, just poured effort into my life.”Bradley has the opportunity to travel to Mexico where she will compete in the national tournament. MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Not many schools can say they have a fan like Bob Finn. After ULM only has three winning records in the last seventeen years for ULM baseball, Finn continues to show his support for the program. Finn is a Winnsboro resident who graduated from Southwest Mississippi Community College, where he played baseball and was a hall of famer. Finn is now a 90-year-old Warhawk superfan.

SULPHUR, La. (KNOE) - OCS came into this game looking to win it’s 11th school baseball title. It was a rematch of the football state final for OCS and Vermillion Catholic. Although OCS outhit Vermillion 9 to 7, the Eagles fell 4-1. Eagles Head Coach Robert Devinney IV reflected on the heartbreaking loss. “I just told them how proud I was of them. They came out today and played, I thought they played awesome.

SULPHUR, La. (KNOE) - This year’s Oak Grove senior class has never lost a post-season game, and it will stay that way. Oak Grove Baseball has won its fifth straight state title. Tyler Duff got a hold of one in the first inning and hit his second home run in two games making the score 1-0 early. The bats kept rolling when 8th grader James Gregory gets a hit helping his team get back to back singles. Gage Neal capitalized with a two run double making it 3-0 Oak Grove.

STERLINGTON, La. (KNOE) - The Sterlington Panthers have punched their ticket to Sulphur for the second straight season. The historic senior class has made a trip to Sulphur every year except one since 2017. Although Westlake scored a run early in the first, Travis Adams got the bats rolling with a no doubter in the bottom of the frame. This is the second game in a row with a homer for the ULM signee. After just one inning the Panthers had a healthy lead 6-1.
