MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Ford Pemberton is now the 13th head coach in ULM baseball history. He is searching to become the first skipper in over a decade to win the Sun Belt Conference and take the Warhawks to a postseason appearance. MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Sterlington baseball won its 4th state championship in school history on Saturday May 17. For the seniors, it was a great way to go out. With a game three 5-3 win against Erath, another trophy is coming back to Sterlington and rings will be placed on empty hands. The Panthers hadn’t won a title since 2021, and this senior class was close to becoming the first class to not capture a ring on the diamond since the seniors of 2016. Copyright 2025 KNOE.
