The County Compensation Board has recently completed its annual review of the compensation paid to elected county officials and has prepared a compensation schedule for the upcoming fiscal year. The Compensation Board is responsible for ensuring that the salaries of the county Auditor, Treasurer, Recorder, Sheriff, County Attorney, and Supervisors are comparable to those of similar officers in other counties, as well as in private enterprises and the federal government.
