CONWAY — The “This is Your Day” wings mural can remain painted on the side of the Banana Republic building at Settlers Green because the town has decided to stop enforcing its sign ordinance in the wake of a federal judge’s decision concerning Leavitt’s Country Bakery’s doughnut painting. In 2023, the Conway Zoning Board of Adjustment upheld Conway Code Enforcement Officer Jeremy Gibbs’ decision that “Wings” was a sign bigger than the town ordinance allowed and therefore had to be removed.
