The defeatism reminds me of what the Democrats have been doing in D.C., capitulating to billionaires without a fight. We need leadership, not excuses and surrender. It’s what the community is demanding. Real estate powers have been working to remove a once-thriving Black community in the Fillmore neighborhood since the 1950s.
