At least two men were booked for allegedly attacking a woman doctor and damaging her car after she objected to their wrong side driving on Golf Course Road, police said on Wednesday. According to police, the victim, Dr Niharika Jaiswal, a resident of Sector 54, was driving below the Sector 55/56 Rapid Metro station between 5pm and 6pm on June 10 when a car coming from the wrong direction brushed against hers.

A 19-year-old from Faridabad was arrested and two minors apprehended after an 18-year-old Dalit man was allegedly assaulted, tortured, and forced to consume urine in a brutal incident that took place on Monday evening in Ballabhgarh’s Subhash Colony, police said on Wednesday, adding that a case has been registered under a provision of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

The victims, Umesh Kumar, 33, and Krishan Kumar, 30, are senior customer relation assistants posted on the Yellow Line (Line-II).

India, June 18 -- In a tragic and unusual incident, an 18-year-old boy died of internal bleeding after being punched in the chest by a friend during a casual evening of joking around in Maruti Kunj, Bhondsi, on Monday night, police said. The victim, Adesh Kumar, a Class 12 student at a private school in Palwal, was visiting his family during summer vacation. He lived with his maternal uncle in Palwal for studies but was home in Govardhankunj, Maruti Kunj.
