    Neshannock Township police remain puzzled over a report Tuesday a red car rolled into the Shenango River then disappeared from sight. Police and Neshannock Township firefighters were called to the boat launch off Kings Chapel Road, where Andrew Nail of Pulaski reported he was fishing around 12:30 p.m. and told police his unoccupied car rolled down the ramp and into the Shenango River. He told police the car was floating in the water when he saw it, according to township police Chief John Rand.

    A Union Township man who reportedly kicked in a woman’s door and threatened to kill her is now in the Lawrence County jail. New Castle police arrested Michael Julian Rossi, 34, of Grandview Avenue, for a reported home invasion on Beckford Street. The woman who lives there has a protection from abuse order against him, according to a police document.
