#1 · When I built my theater HDMI was pretty new....about 12 years ago. I ran a single ~25ft HDMI cable from my component closet to the projector location. I purchased the cable from monoprice and I remember selecting their most expensive custom cable because of the length of the run. The cable is thick as hell...I didn't measure it, but the diameter of your index finger would be a good estimate.

#1 · I need to connect my TV to the PC which is on the other side of the room, so I decided on buying an optical HDMI cable. I needed the full 2.1 bandwidth as I am running it all: 4k, 144hz, VRR, HDR10+, 10bpp, Dolby Atmos. Bought one from Highwings, which was the most recommended one on most forums and it suffered audio and video dropouts every 5 minutes until one day it just started having a stable picture for 5 seconds at a time.

#1 · My old Lexicon MC-12B from 2003ish. Was upgraded in some steps from 3.00 basis to 4.xx with the Room acoustics measurement system, BIOS firmware to 5.25 etc. Started having issues some 4-5 years ago. Advertised it online as a repair project for a couple of years for a low price without anyone taking the bait ^^. After completing my Cinema in 2017 I've been "light" in the amplifier section using an Rotel ICE 5 channel box for the basics of surrounds.

#1 · For a station wagon, I want to make a sub which will fit in the rear footwell (for when I carry my bike and there's not room in the back area). The space is 9Dx12Hx20W which assuming 3/4" material gives 0.84* cubic feet. One calculator says a 3" port would have to be 136" to tune down to 30 Hz...that seems a bit off (!!) but a port does not seem feasible unless I periscope it which won't fit ha ha.
