We stopped by the Heron on Water Street, a luxury high-rise building that opened in 2021 with 420 one, two, and three-bedroom units. Rent is between $3,200 and $4,500 for many units, but the top-floor penthouse is renting for $17,000 a month. The Heron consists of two residential towers.

TAMPA, Fla. — At every home game, the Tampa Bay Lightning honor a local person or nonprofit working to make an impact in our community. During the playoff game on April 30, the Bolts honored Debbie Evenson. For the past 17 years, Evenson has led the team at Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful as the nonprofit’s executive director. April 30 was her last day on the job as she retired, but she leaves a lasting legacy of impact.

During game 2 of the playoffs against the Florida Panthers on April 24, the Lightning honored CJ Roberts as the Lightning Community Hero. Roberts is the President and CEO of the Tampa Bay History Center. Over the last 20 years, he’s turned the center into a regional and cultural treasure.

During their playoff game against the Florida Panthers on April 22, the Lightning honored a man who leads one of the largest nonprofits in the Tampa Bay area. Tim Marks is the President and CEO of Metropolitan Ministries, which serves 75,000 meals each month. He’s led the nonprofit for 20 years and is retiring at the end of the year.
