Friday, he sat down with KSL TV’s Deja Brown ahead of Utah’s final home game this season against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Friday’s game also marks Fan Appreciation Night at the Delta Center. George said when he was drafted by the Jazz, the chance to play in Salt Lake City was music to his ears.

New Orleans residents living on Florida Avenue are concerned someone is going to get hurt on their street. Antonio Batiste reached out to the WDSU Road Patrol about a growing problem on Florida Avenue. "I've seen accidents, because the road is basically overgrown by grass," Batiste said. Neighbors on Berkley Drive on the Westbank say the sidewalk on their street is broken up, torn up, and needs to be fixed up now. Darlene Green reached out to the Road Patrol for help after submitting multiple 311 requests to the city of New Orleans. "I really reached out because this sidewalk (has) been like this over 40 years," Green said. The problem is the roots of aging trees are protruding out of the ground, leaving the sidewalk in disrepair.

The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority is rolling out a new fleet of 29 buses in Orleans Parish. "It's a combination of diesel-electric hybrids as well as diesel engines," said CEO Lona Edwards Hankins. Hankins said right now, RTA has 21 buses, a mix of diesel and hybrid buses, with eight more expected to be secured and out on the street by the first quarter of 2025. "The diesels cost about $600,000, and our diesel hybrids cost close to $1 million," Hankins said.
