Not sure if there is anything more disturbing than hearing about the death of a child. It's even more disturbing when you learn that that death was a result of a child taking their own life. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that suicide is the second leading cause of death for ages 10 to 14 and 25 to 34. Suicide rates increased by approximately 36% between 2000-24.
