A 12-year-old boy has died, and his father is left in critical condition after their vehicle landed in a lake during a crash on Veterans Memorial Parkway in Cape Coral on Tuesday.According to the Cape Coral Police Department, two vehicles collided, causing one to veer off the road and submerge in a small lake near the road.The boy, a student at Gulf Middle School, was pulled from the vehicle but did not survive, CCPD said.
