The station is owned by Hearst Television and collaborates with WZVN-TV, an ABC affiliate licensed to Naples, through a local marketing agreement (LMA) with Montclair Communications. Both WBBH-TV and WZVN-TV share their studio facilities located on Central Avenue in Fort Myers. The transmitter for WBBH-TV is situated along SR 31 in the southeastern part of Charlotte County, which is not incorporated. The station is referred to as NBC 2 because of its primary channel number on local cable systems.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested after being accused of flashing a gun and stealing a scooter from a child under 12 in Cape Coral. The Cape Coral Police Department said Jiovanni Peguero, 13, was arrested on Tuesday and is facing multiple charges. Officers responded to reports of a robbery near a home in northeast Cape Coral on Tuesday.
