PHILADELPHIA – In April, the Phillies were trying to find every way possible to get Edmundo Sosa in the lineup. He even played the outfield. It didn’t last long. He got some playing time at third base when Bryce Harper missed games after a hit-by-pitch in the Atlanta series. The Phillies in June have prioritized at-bats for Otto Kemp over Sosa.

PHILADELPHIA – Ahead of a three-game series against the Astros in Houston, the Phillies are tweaking the starting rotation order. Zack Wheeler, who pitched five innings in Friday night’s win against the Mets, will make his next start on regular rest on Wednesday. PHILADELPHIA – The Phillies will be without Bryce Harper (right wrist inflammation) for the series opener against the Mets, but he is making progress. The Phillies first baseman is cleared to swing a bat. He took 20 “dry swings” and 20 swings off of a tee on Friday. He was out playing catch and taking ground balls at first base pregame. There is still no official timetable for a return. “I’m happy with where I’m at,” Harper said.

Being too nice is a hilarious critique of this team.

@destiny_lugardo They are way way way too comfortable with each other for a team that hasn’t won anything. They need to bring in some assholes who can play
