Tacoma Mayor Victoria Woodards recently announced in a release that the city secured $10,000 in funding via the U.S. Conference of Mayors' Dollarwise Grant. The funding will be used to accelerate the planning of a new workforce development hub out of the former Willard Elementary School that will also serve as a child care facility for working families in Tacoma.

Dion Teague always has appreciated the styles of yesteryear. Teague, who grew up in Los Angeles, moved to Washington with his wife in 1980 for school. Always with a sharp eye for style and quality clothes, Teague grew fond of PNW staples such as Pendleton, Filson, and other brands he saw men wearing in the timber industry in Grays Harbor. He is now semi-retired after working in higher education and is the shop owner of D Haberdashery on downtown Tacoma’s Antique Row.
