The PCC Corner Market will be located at Fourth and Union and seeks to meet the needs of downtown workers and residents, a release said. The corner store will also mark the business's return to the area after closing its original downtown location in January 2024.

    Tool Gauge, a Tacoma-based plastic and metal manufacturer that specializes in interior airplane parts, was recently acquired by DEMGY Group, a France-based plastic-fabrication company. DEMGY, which is a tier 1 supplier to Boeing and Airbus, officially acquired the manufacturing company on March 31 and expects the purchase to strengthen the group’s international position as a plastics-processing solution for the aerospace industry, a press release said.
