A couple of them were a little outside the Documenters’ typical fare: University of Michigan Poverty Solutions held a panel discussion about how to measure the success of ShotStoppers, Detroit’s pilot program funding six neighborhood violence prevention organizations. The idea is to lower the crime rate in the city, specifically murders and nonfatal shootings.
