"Typical" is concentrated frustration for the new age, the empathy age, the age where anger comes second to understanding and acceptance, and I love it.

Dream Pop GhibliMINOVA drops a debut album that's as dreamy as the Ghibli landscape and as layered as its narratives. "Where Do I Go" is a dreamy little endeavor from MINOVA and the perfect introduction to their sound. It's a tasteful palate of whispy guitars and soft pop drums. It doesn't shout, it whispers and paints a story full of twists and turns, but also the occasional picnic on indie folk valleys.

Time as an OdysseySTRFKR gives us the map to time itself with "Always/Never" a quirk that induces an electro-rock journey. Like the best of Odyssey's "Always/Never" is a journey filled with ups, downs, and occasional epic escapades, but it's all just warped by jest and funk whizzes. STRFKR don't ever shy away from the wonderfully eclectic, but "Always/Never" is a great introduction to their sound, their ship, and their philosophies.

Nothing But Beats and LovePip Bloom and Ludwig A.F. mold into one dope sound with this mix of "Keep It Together" - it screams special joy and I love it. Every now and then a track comes your way that just becomes a part of your life, it grows on you almost immediately and all you wanna do is get lost in it. The Ludwig A.F. mix of "Keep It Together" is a sonic fantasy I never knew I needed.

This song is a treat, and those are universally loved, no? Fun fact, the population of my treat drawer at home recently grew by one member: Marzipan. When I'm low on sugar, I tap the drawer's resources. When I'm low on everything else, recently, I've been turning to this remix. My main issue with how much I dig Nia & Maverick's vocals is the frequency that I tend to take snack breaks. I'm bound to get sick of this remix sooner or later.

I live in Amsterdam now, there's inflation, and now my friends in my new life call me Dinifred. It's a mixture of Dylan and Winifred, which is the name of the cocker spaniel I soul bonded with about seven standard Earth months ago.

It's been a little while since MØ popped up on my radar, but this cover of "Attack of the Ghost Riders" really managed to pull me in with its blend of old-school punk and more modern electronic/production techniques. The gritty bass, howling vocals, upbeat tempo and easy-to-join-in-melody all add together for a somewhat punky experience. Perhaps that's testament to The Raveonettes?

Hello new obsession, it's been a while. Life feels a little more familiar when there's a weekly favorite track that spins on repeat again and again. This week, it's GONTYA's "Trauma" and in line with the song name, the piece itself is dark and intriguing. Russian vocal samples together with haunting vocal harmonies set the tone while glitchy beats take the track to that cool downtempo space where Nicolas Jaar and the likes reside.
