For some artists, storytelling is a calling that comes at birth. But for Austin-based filmmaker Greg Kwedar, it came in the middle of an accounting exam at Texas A&M. After discovering his love for filmmaking while working on film sets in Australia, the Fort Worth native decided to drop out of school to pursue his newfound passion. He packed his bags and moved to Austin in 2009.

The lacrosse team will look to extend its four-game winning streak against Arizona State this Friday. Overall, the Trojans are 13-3 on the year, earning them a No. 28 national ranking. USC has picked up the momentum after its slow start winning eight of their last nine games, all against Pac-12 opponents. The Trojans are currently ranked No. 1 in the Pac-12 standings, having split one game with Stanford, who is ranked second.

Applause roared throughout Uytengsu Aquatic Center as USC celebrated Senior Day with the team’s seven seniors receiving a special tribute in their final home game. In their penultimate game, the Trojans capped off an undefeated season at home with a 15-11 win against Arizona State. After achieving a perfect record at home, Head Coach Marko Pintaric spoke of the importance of the team’s win.

This Sunday, the No. 26 Trojans will face off against No. 49 Oregon. With their 4-3 win against Arizona last weekend, the team improved to 14-7 overall and 5-3 in conference play, bumping the team up three spots in the national rankings. The Trojans are ranked fourth in conference play, while the Ducks are ranked seventh. Oregon is 11-7 overall and has lost its last three matchups, all to Pac-12 opponents.
