While traveling in Bangkok, Thailand, around 2013-2014, the now-Denton resident and videographer Larry Hill stumbled into Fatty’s Bar & Diner—an American-run spot that doubles as a music venue. He had bought a Sony A65 camera to take photos, but while adjusting the exposure, he accidentally hit record. “That's when I got that bug in me,” Hill said. Since that initial recording, 48-year-old Hill has recorded more than 4,000 live performances under the name Animals Mistaken For Monsters.
