A Charles County man is facing deportation to Mexico and has been detained for the last five weeks, the man's attorneys said. Angel Servellon Giron's lawyers, along with family and friends, said he was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Baltimore in May. Family members said agents told Servellon they were taking him into custody to "meet a quota," but no other explanation was given. "He means the world to me, man," Servellon's son said.

A U.S. marshal shot a man near the convention center in downtown D.C. Thursday morning, two law enforcement sources told News4. The shooting happened around 10 a.m. near 7th and L streets NW outside the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, sources said. The man who was shot was seriously injured. It's not yet clear what led up to the shooting and police have not said whether the man who was shot was suspected of a crime.

Police did not begin to search through the area where Kyle Coleman was last seen until Monday, Fairfax County police told News4. The Fairfax County Police Department said that is because they did not get key information from Prince William County about this case being an endangered case until Monday morning. From there, it said it dispatched several resources, including a drone, a helicopter and search and rescue teams.
