Amtrak and MARC passengers in D.C. can expect delays Tuesday after a massive warehouse fire in Baltimore disrupted train service in the Northeast. The fire broke out Monday evening at a vacant mattress warehouse in West Baltimore that's close to train tracks, putting service to a halt. Although it's contained, the Baltimore City Fire Department said firefighters were still working Tuesday morning to put out hot spots and extinguish the "deep seated" fire. No injuries have been reported.

It's been one year since 3-year-old Ty'ah Settles was tragically killed - an innocent victim in a hail of gunfire on Hartford Street in Southeast D.C.Family and friends gathered at the site for a celebration of life Saturday night. The pain is still sharp. "The family is still devastated. They're overcoming their obstacles and hurdles, but this is not an easy job," said Bernard Brown, Ty'ah's godfather. "Every day they wake up they look for their baby girl.

A day after Six Flags announced its park in Prince George's County will close this fall, a couple stopped by to take a photo together in front of its sign. Jelani and Amirah Lattimore said they started to fall in love at Six Flags America as teenagers. "Me and my wife pretty much had our first date as, I guess you could say, as young kids. We started falling in love," Jelani Lattimore said. Years after their teen romance, they're still together and visit Six Flags with their kids.

Early voting is underway in Virginia's primary election, and the contest will set up what's to come in November. Races on the primary ballot for statewide office are Democratic candidates for Attorney General and Lieutenant Governor. The Republican nominees have already been chosen in those races. Some voters will also be casting ballots in the races for the Virginia House of Delegates. You can find your polling place using Virginia's Citizen Portal.
