    Sometimes tournament anglers have to move around on massive Lake Mead to find the right size fish to win a tournament, and that is exactly what local anglers Ted Roper, and his partner Cliff Wright did this weekend. Roper and Wright were fishing the Ultimate Bass Team Tournament out of Cedar City Utah on Saturday.

    The Kingman Elks Lodge #468 does two fishing days every year as part of their annual Fishing For Smiles fishing program. The first one is held on a Saturday where kids of all ages get to fish in both of the Dunton’s ponds that have been stocked with a lot of farm raised channel catfish. This year there were over 120 youth and many more adults who were mentors for those kids, and everyone had a blast. A lot of catfish were caught.
