Circle K, Global Partners Sell Dozens of U.S. Stores — OPISATDGLPCircle K, a subsidiary of Alimentation Couche-Tard, and Global Partners are selling stores across a number of U.S. states, according to NRC Realty & Capital Advisors. Both companies have been actively purchasing stores in recent years, and acquisitive companies often shed sites that don't fit their business model. FTC Approves of Global Partners' Revision to Gulf Terminal Purchase — OPISGLPGlobal Partners' recent decision to exclude a petroleum terminal in South Portland, Maine, from its purchase agreement to buy five terminals from Gulf Oil should help the deal obtain regulatory approval, according to a news release from the Federal Trade Commission on Tuesday. Global's purchase of the Maine terminal raised antitrust concerns with the FTC and the Office of the Maine Attorney General, the FTC said.
