    COLUMBUS, Ohio — Companion bills in the Ohio House and Senate would prohibit law enforcement agencies from requiring officers to meet quotas for writing traffic tickets or making arrests. Senate Bill 114 passed unanimously 33-0 in the Senate in late April. It and House Bill 131 are now in the House Public Safety Committee. Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 9 President Lt. Brian Steel supports the bills to end law enforcement quotas.
