The Facebook founder is the buyer in a $23 million mansion sale that closed last month, according to Politico. The buyer in the highly secretive off-market sale of a D.C. mansion near the U.S. Naval Observatory last month has been revealed: billionaire Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. Politico reported Wednesday that Zuckerberg was the one who plunked down $23 million in cash for the 15,000-square-foot mansion in D.C.’s Woodland Normanstone neighborhood.

Frank Rotman, one of the co-founders of Alexandria venture capital firm QED Investors, will move into the role of partner emeritus at the firm at the end of the year. QED said Rotman is transitioning to the new role to focus on founding his own startups. Rotman will advise QED on a part-time basis in his new role.
