    WRIGHT COUNTY, Mo. — A man from Mansfield was killed after his motorcycle drove through a dead-end and crashed. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred four miles west of Mansfield at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 13. The MSHP crash report states that a 53-year-old man was driving a 2015 Harley-Davidson Sportster 48 motorcycle west on Lucky Road when the bike traveled off the end of a dead-end road. The motorcycle then hit an embankment and overturned.

    DOUGLAS COUNTY, Mo. — A man from Sparta was arrested after ramming into multiple law enforcement vehicles and resisting arrest during an early morning pursuit on Sunday, April 13. According to a Facebook post from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO), Sheriff Chris Degase and Deputy Shawn Wilson assisted the Ozark Police Department in a pursuit on West State Route 14 heading into Douglas County.

    GREENE COUNTY, Mo. — A man from Springfield died Saturday afternoon after he was thrown from his motorcycle in a fatal crash in eastern Greene County. According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when the 42-year-old man was riding a 2021 Aprilia Tuono motorcycle west on Route YY, a mile and a half east of Springfield.

    MISSOURI – Home security company Safewise recently released its annual “Safest Cities in Missouri” list for 2025. The list is created by examining crime rates calculated by the FBI. Safewise also evaluates results from a “state of safety” survey to gauge how residents perceive crime and safety in their communities. According to Safewise, the top two safest cities in Missouri are in the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan Area.
