    One man band / loop daddy / genius Mark Rebillet is coming to Fayetteville. The artist, known for his spontaneous looping songs made on the spot sometimes based on audience input and streamed online, will perform at JJ’s Live on Thursday, Nov. 6. Rebillet, who announced the show as part of his “Places I’ve Never Played and Will Never Play Again Tour,” might not have played JJ’s Live before, but he has performed in Fayetteville. He was last in town for a shot at Nomad’s Southtown in 2019.

    Every year around this time, a corporation that got its start a few miles north of Fayetteville throws a party on the University of Arkansas campus. And every year, that corporation flies in a few celebrities to make an appearance at the party. Most of the time, those celebrities fly in and back out without seeing much of Fayetteville outside of the inside of Bud Walton Arena and the Black SUV or helicopter or whatever other vehicle they may arrive in that brought them there.

    What do you get when you combine a bunch of rowdy Hog fans, and a bunch of rowdy Walmart shareholders, and a bunch of rowdy residents, all together in one weekend in Fayetteville? We’re not sure, but we’re about to find out. The Razorback baseball team is playing in an NCAA Super Regional this Saturday-Monday versus rivals Tennessee. The Hogs need to take two games versus the Vols this weekend to make it to the College World Series (fingers crossed emoji).

    The 21st annual NWA Pride Parade, festival, and Trans March will take place the weekend of June 27-29 in Fayetteville this year. The weekend will kick off with the Trans March and festival beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday in the Upper Ramble on Dickson Street. A rally will begin after the march, and the festival will follow. Also Friday night, Adore Delano will perform on the Main Stage in the Upper Ramble to kick off the weekend. The NWA Pride festival will begin at 11 a.m., also in the Upper Ramble.

    A local group that has raised more than $50,000 for families displaced by the war in Gaza will host another benefit show in Fayetteville this weekend. Local artists Young Haircut, Ray Porter, Happiness Beast, and Eon will perform at a benefit for Fayetteville Feeds Families on Saturday, June 7 at Club 509. According to their Instagram page, the group is a grassroots effort to provide food, water, and assist with sheltering needs for over 100 families in Gaza.
