Last October, the WNBA’s players opted out of their collective bargaining agreement. After very little news for months, stars like Napheesa Collier, Angel Reese, and DiJonai Carrington all indicated recently that the players will hold out if the WNBA doesn’t start paying the players better. The statements suggest a labor dispute might be coming to the WNBA. But who is actually participating in the dispute? This may seem like an odd question to ask.

We won’t know the full scope of what went wrong to cause the horrific in-air crash at DCA until the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) completes its investigation. That could take up to two years. Oh, and that’s assuming the investigation is independent–which didn’t previously need to be specified, but, well… look around. Given all of that, the opposition to Musk and Trump, including but not limited to Democrats, must not wait to assign blame.

What Happened:After firing former Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) director Rohit Chopra on Saturday, President Trump appointed Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent as acting director on Monday. This change in leadership will undoubtedly allow bad faith bankers and financiers to take advantage, via fraud and misconduct, of far more consumers.

His nominees generally fall into two types: obviously whacko (see Pete Hegseth, Tulsi Gabbard, Kash Patel, RFK Jr.) and superficially normal (think Marco Rubio, Doug Burgum, Pam Bondi).
