Last season Travis Bazzana seemed to rewrite the record book weekly. While most remain, one record lasted just over a year. As Eric Dazey and Chad Angel met for a quick photo op before their game on April 11, the friendship and respect each had for the another was readily apparent. The offense has been alive and well for the Oregon State baseball team to begin its current extended road trip. The Beavers completed a three-game sweep of Cal State Fullerton this past weekend, winning 7-3, 17-10 and 9-8. They’ve won the first four of an eight-game road trip, which began last Tuesday with the 10-6 win over Portland. Oregon State (26-7) stays in California to take on No. 10 UCLA for a midweek game Tuesday before facing CSUN next weekend.
