A Delta Air Lines airplane caught fire before it was supposed to take off at a central Florida airport, forcing the evacuation of passengers. There were no initial reports of any injuries during the fire on the plane at Orlando International Airport on Monday morning. The engine fire on Delta Air Lines Flight 1213 broke out while the plane was at the ramp before a scheduled departure from Orlando to Atlanta. The passengers were evacuated, and the airport's rescue and firefighting team responded.

Herb Gross has been an assistant for the Trinity Lutheran softball team for the past five years, and now as he enters his sixth year with the program, his title will be changing to head coach. With Bob Tabeling stepping down to watch his daughter, Bailey Tabeling, play basketball at Ohio University, Gross is excited to take over the Cougars’ program. “I’m excited. I learned a lot from Bob. He was a great mentor to me, and I appreciated everything he taught me,” Gross said.

When Emilee Lang was a freshman at Trinity Lutheran High School, she was one of 18 individuals that made up the first-ever girls soccer team in school history. Fast forward eight years later, and Lang is returning to that program as an assistant coach this fall. “Thom Hayes was looking for some assistants that were younger and could relate to some of the players, and their new AD Jason Roeder called me and asked if I’d be interested, and I definitely was,” she said.
