Fifty years ago this month, pioneer Bob Hall took off from the start of the Boston Marathon and right into the racing history books. "I was very excited," Hall said, remembering becoming the first wheelchair athlete ever to complete the iconic race. "I was ready to go."Hall had trained extensively, but race day was different."I got in behind the pack of runners, and that group of runners kept growing and growing. I kept moving back and back, and I thought, 'Oh, this is different,'" he said.

SHE SAYS SHE LOST HER BALANCE. SHE STUMBLED TO THE SIDE AND FELL, AS YOU CAN SEE TO THE FLOOR, HELPLESS AND CONFUSED, SHE WAS ABLE TO USE SIRI TO CALL 911.
