PHILADELPHIA – He is the prospect that might make the most sense for the Eagles in next Thursday’s first round of the NFL Draft, because Donovan Ezeiruaku checks a lot of the box’s general manager Howie Roseman and his staff compile in their evaluation process. Production? Check. Ezeiruaku ranked second in FBS with 16.5 sacks, third with 20.5 tackles for loss, and added three forced fumbles. Character? Check. Ezeiruaku was a team captain at Boston College. It doesn’t happen often, but maybe it will this year, and maybe it will be the Eagles who make it happen. On the final day the NFL allows teams to have top-30 visits with prospects in the draft, the Eagles reportedly met with safety Rayuan Lane III, who played at the Naval Academy.

PHILADELPHIA - Walter Nolen makes a lot of sense for the Eagles and could be a target for general manager Howie Roseman when the NFL Draft begins next week. PHILADELPHIA – This feels like a tight end kind of draft for the Eagles. Not that Howie Roseman or Nick Sirianni would tip their hands about that when the general manager and head coach talked on Tuesday afternoon in their annual pre-draft news conference. Roseman said that the unsettled Dallas Goedert situation won’t impact what they do at the tight end spot when the draft begins on April 24 in Green Bay.

#Phillies looked a lot like a team that played a rain-delayed extra-innings road game the night before and got into STL after 3 am. 🤷🏽‍♂️
