A passenger plane carrying 62 people on board crashed near the São Paulo airport, the airline said Friday. Brazilian carrier Voepass said the plane had taken off from the city of Cascavel in the Parana State, about 450 miles from the São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport. The plane crashed near the area of Vinhedo, the airline said.
