The interim coach of the Super Eagles, Austin Eguavoen has named his 23-man squad for the final round of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers. The squad list was released on Wednesday by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF). The Super Eagles will go head to head with Benin Republic and Rwanda in the final round of their group stage (Group D)match. Victor Osimhen is back to the team after missing out on the last-round games due to a muscle injury.

Edo Queens departed the country on Thursday morning ahead of the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League. The players and officials have travelled to Casablanca from the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos. Moses Aduku’s side are drawn in Group B with current holders Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, Egypt’s FC Masar and CBE FC of Ethiopia. The Nigerian champions will be making their debut appearance in the competition.

All is now set for the 40th Matriculation Ceremony of fresh students into the various departments of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, for the 2022/2023 academic session. The ceremony, slated for 10.00 am on Tuesday 10th October, 2023 at the International Conference / Student Centre, is expected to have all matriculants seated by 8.30am.
