Netgear is acquiring cybersecurity provider Exium to launch a fully integrated networking and security platform for managed service providers (MSPs) and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs). The acquisition is part of Netgear’s continuing investment in cloud-based solutions for advanced business connectivity. It builds on the company's goal of delivering next-gen networking solutions that provide "simplicity, reliability and cost-effectiveness" to SMEs, it said.

A new Check Point Software Technologies report shows cloud adoption is outpacing cybersecurity readiness, leaving organizations open to more cyber risk. Check Point’s 2025 Cloud Security Report, is based on a global survey of more than 900 CISOs and IT leaders. As hybrid, multicloud and edge architectures expand, many organizations are relying on outdated security models that can’t keep up.
