    Unified communications and collaboration provider Mitel has financially restructured its business, as the company and its creditors emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Mitel executives said the company has cut about $1.15 billion in debt and knocked off $135 million from what it spends on interest payments each year. The Mitel bankruptcy process, which started March 10, has wrapped, according to an FAQ by the company.

The impacted positions range from sales to operations to IT to the alliances team. That includes the head of strategic alliances Danny DeLozier, who said on LinkedIn that C1 had undergone a "broader organizational shift affecting hundreds of talented individuals."C1 confirmed layoffs in a statement to Channel Futures.
