Ball State football kicked off the Mike Uremovich era with its 2025 spring showcase. Although the coaches treated the showcase as a usual practice, head coach Uremovich said the spring showcase was exciting for the players to get in front of the Muncie community for the first time in 2025. Uremovich said he thinks the players adjusted well to the new coaching system. He said he plans to use the period between spring and summer to adjust the system to prepare for the upcoming season.

Two days after beating Ball State women’s basketball in the opening round of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, Ole Miss is heading to the NCAA Sweet 16 after defeating Baylor. Ole Miss will travel to Spokane, Washington to face the winner of UCLA vs. Richmond on March 28 with the time to be decided. The Rebels downed the Bears 69-63 at the University of Baylor hosting sight in Waco, Texas. Baylor entered the locker room up 29-26 after a 10-0 run.

Ball State women’s basketball head coach Brady Sallee has said everything the Cardinals do is all a part of a larger team. That larger team is Ball State University and Muncie, but it is also the Pride of Mid-America pep band, Code Red and the cheerleaders. All three groups have been the Cardinals since the beginning of the season, to the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament and the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament.
