A lot of us talk about how long we have been playing MMORPGs with a certain amount of editing. For example, it would be broadly accurate to say that I have been playing World of Warcraft since the game launched… but y’know, there have been breaks in there. And it’s hardly unique in that regard. There’s always going to be a degree of controversy around a new Dragon Age game, it seems, but Dragon Age: Veilguard earned perhaps more than its fair share, owing largely to how it felt like a total reboot rather than the fourth entry in the series. And according to a new video from former series executive producer Mark Darrah, that’s mostly because that’s exactly what happened.
