WEST ORANGE, NJ – On Friday, April 4, the New Jersey gubernatorial candidates answered questions at the annual Meet the Mayors event – which became more of a Meet the Gubernatorial Candidates --at the Wilshire Grand Hotel. Candidates who attended the event included (in the order that they were seated in) Jon Bramnick (R), Ras Baraka (D), Josh Gottheimer (D), Sean Spiller (D), Jack Ciatterelli (R) and Steve Fulop (D). James Spango, Mayor of Roseland, moderated the discussion.

HOLLYWOOD, NJ -- Director and screenwriter Sean Baker, who made history Sunday night, winning four Oscars at the 97th Academy Awards for his film "Anora" is a New Jersey native and the son of prominent Somerville attorney Steve Baker. Baker won Oscars for writing, editing, directing and producing “Anora.”  His wife Samathan Quan, is co-producer of the $6 million independent film, which took 40 days to complete.
