(WTXL) — Keeping the water close this week- whether it is for the lawn and garden or yourself!Warm and humid weather means we will be sweating it out across our neighborhoods over the next several days. Highs rise to the upper 80s and low 90s through the weekend. Shower chance remain very isolated. A few spot showers and storms are possible late week into the weekend, but significant rain or widespread rain is not expected at the moment.

Sometimes cold fronts can aid in storm activity, but not Tuesday!There is going to be very little moisture to work with, so the cold front will likely only squeeze a shower or two out near the coastline in southeast Big Bend neighborhoods.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The big story in weather this week will be our warmer weather!Highs Monday climb to the low to mid 80s in most neighborhoods. A mostly dry cold front slides through Tuesday, but highs still have a chance to climb to the mid 80s again!A spot shower cannot be ruled out through the southwest side of the Big Bend and the front pushes southeast Tuesday afternoon. Most of us will not receive rain or storm activity though.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A cold front will slide through our neighborhoods Friday morning through afternoon. Most of us will not even notice the front besides an increase in wind. While mostly sunny skies are expected for the majority of our neighbors, we can count on an isolated storm to pop up in the southeast side of the Big Bend Friday afternoon. Even then, not everyone across the southeast Big Bend counties will get rain.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Another day of clear skies and sunshine return for Thursday's forecast. A few clouds are possible over our most eastern neighborhoods closer to the I-75 corridor, but those are not looking to produce rain or storms. Storm activity stays north Thursday afternoon. Friday a cold front moves through allowing isolated storms to develop across our eastern neighborhoods. Counties like Taylor, Suwannee, and Lafayette are in a 1/5 severe risk area for Friday afternoon.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Clear skies and dry air keep sunshine a trend in our forecast through most of our work week. Temperatures take a tumble overnight into the 40s and 50s as highs climb into the 70s and low 80s. Sunshine and drier helps with warming during the day, but clear skies and drier air at night help temperatures take a drop. We steer clear of most rain and storms chances until Friday. Closer to the I-75 corridor on Friday, a few showers and storms are possible.
Survey teams to complete damage assessment from Monday's radar-confirmed tornadoes

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The National Weather Service in Tallahassee will send two survey crews to damage sites in the Big Bend and South Georgia Tuesday morning. The two confirmed survey locations include damage in northern Grady County into southwest Colquitt County, and damage locations in northern Leon County into southern Grady County. If there is enough time, the third radar-confirmed site in western Leon County will also be surveyed.

Highs climb back into the low to mid 70s and a stray low 80 through the rest of the week. Sunshine remains a big part of the end-of-week forecast. Next chances of showers and storms returns Friday. These are looking to stay to the eastern side of South Georgia and the Big Bend.

Visibility could be reduced down to a quarter of a mile or less!It may be slow going on some of those major roadways at times. Fog is out by about 10 AM, and we are left with only a few clouds above. Spot showers and storms are possible across the I-75 corridor Wednesday afternoon. Warm and humid weather greet us each afternoon for the rest of the week.
