    Oceania Cruises has added four solar eclipse sailings to its line-up for 2026, taking its total to five. During the eclipse on August 12, 2026, each of the cruises will be positioned in a “prime location” in its path to allow for the best possible viewpoint. The line will put on deck parties with solar-themed cuisine and offer a programme of speakers on board each sailing, including astronomers and Nasa ambassadors.

    MSC Cruises has opened the world’s largest and “most advanced” cruise terminal at PortMiami. The 492,675-square foot facility is capable of processing up to 36,000 passengers per day and features 22 biometric e-gates, 18 biometric facepods to verify passports and 42 luggage screening machines to “streamline the embarkation process”.

    Swan Hellenic has launched two Grand Voyages which will sail the west coast of Africa in 2026. The first 51-night Africa Grand Voyage will depart from Cape Town, South Africa on March 25 , 2026 and will combine five northbound cruises to sail the entire west coast of Africa to Casablanca, Morocco before ending in Lisbon, Portugal.
