Now the Wisconsin Farmers Union is shining a spotlight on the program’s impact. In May, the Wisconsin Farmers Union shared a new video series explaining how the Wisconsin Local Food Purchase Assistance program works following its cancellation in March.

Starting on Saturday, June 7, everyone is invited to join yogis from The Yoga Rooms for a free outdoor practice in River Prairie Park in Altoona. Wendy Oberg, the owner of the Yoga Rooms, said people with all levels of experience are welcome and that practicing yoga outdoors has many benefits.

    EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -Lakeshore Elementary students and staff celebrated the unveiling of a new machine designed to inspire the love of reading. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to honor the new book vending machine donated by Trust Point Wealth Management Company at Lakeshore Elementary School on Friday morning. Stocked with around 200 books for different tastes and reading levels, all students need to do is put in a token and select the book to embark on a new reading adventure.
